Alan Vaughan joins CBRE|Richmond as a senior vice president in Capital Markets

Alan Vaughan has joined CBRE|Richmond as a senior vice president in Capital Markets.


Vaughan’s primary focus will be the acquisition and disposition of investment properties as well as
providing capital market solutions for clients.

Before joining CBRE|Richmond, he spent 20 years in the investment banking industry, with the last 16 years at Davenport & Company LLC in Richmond.  
In that position, he provided financial advisory services to public and private companies, many of which invested in and managed commercial real estate and other types of real estate.

Vaughan will work closely with Scott Adams, regional president, Mid-South Region, and Will Bradley, vice president, investment
properties, to focus primarily on office, office/flex and industrial assets in the Central Virginia market.

Vaughan is a member of the Greater Richmond Association for Commercial Real Estate
(GRACRE) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Vaughan is a graduate of Cornell University, received his juris doctor and masters of business administration from the University of Richmond, and is an associate member of the Virginia State Bar.


CBRE is the only global real estate services firm with offices in Norfolk, Newport News, Richmond, Charlottesville,
and Fredericksburg, and Raleigh and Greensboro, N.C. These offices are referred to as the Mid-
South region. The CBRE Mid-South offices (excluding Northern Virginia and Charlotte, N.C. offices) completed $2.9
billion of sales and leasing transactions in 2015.
