Alexandria firm names chief information officer

Gunjan Goel joins ST Engineering North America Inc.

Alexandria-based ST Engineering North America Inc. has hired Gunjan Goel as its chief information officer.

With more than 20 years of experience, he most recently served as senior vice president of information technology at tech company Cobham. A defense contractor, ST Engineering North America specializes in maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for the aviation industry.

“Throughout his career, Gunjan led business and technology transformations,” ST Engineering North America Chairman and CEO Tom Vecchiolla said in a statement. “He successfully navigated complex security challenges and translated customer requirements into valued solutions.”

Before his time with Cobham, Goel held leadership positions with Plexlane, Amerivitals Telehealth, Computer Sciences Corp. and Honeywell Inc. He earned his master’s degree in information systems from Arizona State University and an executive MBA from Notre Dame.
