Cherry Bekaert opens benefits consulting firm

The Richmond-based accounting and consulting firm Cherry Bekaert Benefits Consulting LLP has established  Cherry Bekaert Benefits Consulting, LLC.

The new benefits consulting firm will focus on helping clients navigate the complexities of the Affordable Care Act.

Cherry Bekaert Benefits Consulting will specialize in consultation, implementation and administrative services, and group health and welfare plans.

Company officials said the consulting firm will support companies in understanding the ACA, as well as develop long-term plans to optimize their bottom line and generate growth.

Additionally, the firm also will help with employee benefits, retirement plans, merger and acquisition due diligence, and compensation plans.
