Christian & Barton names new managing partner

Michael J. Quinan has been elected managing partner of Christian & Barton LLP.

Quinan succeeds J. Edward Betts, who was managing partner for 23 years.

Quinan will continue his legal practice focusing primarily on business litigation, administrative law and public utility regulation.

Betts will remain a senior partner in the firm’s antitrust practice group.

Quinan joined Christian & Barton in 2004 and has served as vice chair of the firm’s energy group and chair of its client development committee.

He is a former chair of the Virginia Bar Association’s Law Practice Management Division.

Quinan  serves on the board of directors for the Federal Bar Association, Richmond Chapter, and is the immediate past president of the HARPS Foundation (American Youth Harp Ensemble).
