Draper Aden Associates moves headquarters within Henrico

Engineering firm Draper Aden Associates (DAA) has moved its headquarters within Henrico County to accommodate growth.

The new office, at 1030 Wilmer Ave., is 43,858 square feet, 17,000 square feet larger than its previous office at 8090 Villa Park Drive.

The firm’s Richmond staff now includes more than 160 employees. DAA’s Richmond office has grown by 50 percent over the last three years, according to Jeff Lighthiser, CEO and president of Draper Aden Associates. The firm expects to grow its Richmond workforce by 10 percent over the next two years.

DAA’s new office maximizes efficient use workspace that also includes a number of collaborative spaces. For example, each technical division in the firm has its own conference room with video equipment.
 
DAA has eight additional offices located in Blacksburg, Newport News, Manassas, Charlottesville, Virginia Beach and Fayetteville and Raleigh in North Carolina. 

The Richmond office is the firm’s largest and serves as its headquarters.
