Tysons-based DXC Technology named Ken Corless as executive vice president, offerings and strategic partners, on Friday. Corless will be based in the company’s Chicago office.

Corless was most recently the chief technology officer for Deloitte’s Cloud Practice in his 30-year career in the information technology industry. Before Deloitte, he spent more than 28 years at Accenture plc serving in several roles.

In his new role, he will report to DXC President and CEO Mike Salvino. This is the eighth senior leadership appointment Salvino has made since he became CEO in September 2019.

As executive vice president, offerings and strategic partners, Corless will oversee DXC’s cloud and platform services, security, analytics, internet of things, application services, enterprise cloud and applications.

Corless earned his bachelor’s degrees in management and mathematics.

DXC Technology was formed in April 2017 as a result of the merger of Computer Science Corp. and the Enterprise Services business of Hewlett Packard Enterprise. The Fortune 500 company has 138,000 employees worldwide and last year had revenues of more than $20 billion.
