Gentry Locke announces 2020 management committee

The Roanoke law firm appointed one managing partner and five partners to committee.

Roanoke-based law firm Gentry Locke appointed one managing partner and five partners from its Roanoke and Richmond offices to its 2020 management committee, Gentry Locke announced Tuesday.

Managing Partner Monica T. Monday will lead the management committee. Monday has been the firm’s managing partner since 2013 and in her new role will oversee firm operations and strategies including organizational structure, budget, business development and recruiting.

Roanoke Partners Matthew W. Broughton, W. William Gust, Guy M. Harbert III and K. Brett Marston will all serve on the management committee. Partner Gregory D. Habeeb from the firm’s Richmond office was also appointed. 

Across its three locations in Roanoke, Richmond and Lynchburg, Gentry Locke employs more than 60 lawyers. The firm was founded in 1923 and serves Virginia and U.S. clients. Gentry Lock is also a member of the ALFA International Legal Network — a global legal network of 150 independent law firms.
