Hampton Roads Realtor receives lifetime achievement award

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Towne Realty CEO Barbara Wolcott has been with the Hampton Roads Realtors Association for nearly 50 years.

The Hampton Roads Realtors Association presented Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Towne Realty Chairman and CEO Barbara Wolcott with its 2019 HRRA Lifetime Achievement Award, the company announced Monday.

The award is given to tenured HRRA association members who have made a recognizable and identifiable difference in multiple facets of the real estate industry.

An association member for nearly 50 years, Wolcott has served on the HRRA Board of Directors and chaired multiple committees. She served as president of the Virginia Association of Realtors Board of Directors in 1996 and was named Virginia Realtor of the Year in 1988.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Towne Realty has more than 500 associates and employees in the Hampton Roads and Southeast Virginia real estate market.
