Ledbury opening Georgetown location
Richmond-based menswear company Ledbury announced plans to open a store in Georgetown, Washington, D.C., this spring. The expansion will mark Ledbury’s first store opening outside of Richmond, where it currently operates two stores.
Ledbury was founded six years ago and has hosted four pop-ups shops in Georgetown, its second largest market.
The luxury shirtmaker and men’s apparel company will take over a 670-square-foot space in Cady’s Alley, a retail and residential redevelopment in the heart of Georgetown.
The new store will act as a showroom and will feature Ledbury shirts, blazers, sweaters, polos, pants and accessories. Customers will be able to place an order, which will be mailed to their home. It also will offer made-to-measure shirts, where customers can personalize shirts, selecting things like fabrics, collars, cuffs and monograms.
According to its website, Ledbury currently has 30 employees. It is searching for candidates for the new location.
