More Bojangles restaurants coming to Richmond market

Tands Inc. continues to open Bojangles’ restaurants in the Richmond market. The franchisee opened its first restaurant in Ashland at 11635 Lakeridge Parkway in December – just a short distance from Bass Pro Shops — in what Tands says is a new wave of growth for the brand in the greater Richmond market.

Ashland is the eighth Bojangles’ in Richmond owned by Tands, Inc. It plans to break ground on two more Richmond-area locations by the end of the year and has plans for several more.

“As we continue to grow in Richmond, we knew it was time to bring Bojangles’ to Ashland. We’ve been very fortunate to have such loyal customers and high demand in this region,” Tands Inc. spokesperson Donna Rodwell said in a statement.

Tands has been a Bojangles’ franchise partner since 1980. It owns 57 restaurants throughout Virginia and North Carolina.

Bojangles’ is known for its homemade chicken biscuits and serves breakfast all day.
