Oceus Networks names new CEO

Randy Fuerst has been named president and CEO of broadband provider Oceus Networks Inc.

The appointment follows the departure of Douglas Smith as the company’s CEO. The company did not provide a reason for Smith’s departure.

Fuerst joined Reston-based Oceus three years ago as president and chief operating officer. Before joining Oceus, Fuerst was COO at CACI International.

Oceus Networks provides broadband to governments and industry that enable them to deliver high-speed voice, video and data communications.
