S.L. Nusbaum names VP corporate brokerage, development

Fenton Childers joins the Norfolk-based real estate company

Norfolk-based real estate company S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. announced Wednesday it has hired Fenton Childers as vice president of corporate brokerage and development. 

With 35 years of experience, Childers was most recently real estate manager with The Kroger Co., where he managed its brokerage team. His experience has been focused on strategic planning, site selection, capital management, sales analysis, disposition of closed commercial property and lease administration. In his new role, he will be based in S.L. Nusbaum’s Roanoke office.

Childers earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Pfeiffer University.

Founded more than 114 years ago, S.L. Nusbaum manages, develops and provides sales and leasing services for shopping centers, apartment communities, office and industrial properties throughout the Southeast and mid-Atlantic regions.
