State developing strategic plan for modeling and simulation

The commonwealth is developing a strategic plan for Virginia’s modeling and simulation industry.

The purpose of the plan is identifying modeling and simulation assets and capabilities to jumpstart collaboration and market development across Virginia. 

The effort is being led by Virginia’s secretaries of Technology, commerce and trade, education and veterans affairs and Homeland security. 

Companies that develop or utilize modeling and simulation applications or technologies are encouraged to participate. They can contact [email protected] or visit www.modsimconnected.com to register. 

The strategic plan will be completed by Dec. 1.  Funding for the strategic plan is being provided by the Department of Defense, Office of Economic Adjustment.
