Tenants announced for Tysons development

The Meridian Group has announced nine tenants that have been lined up for The Boro, a development of than 4 million square feet now under construction in Tysons.

The group includes seven restaurants, a dry-cleaning service and a vision service.

The restaurants include: North Italia, 6,200 square feet; Flower Child, 3,600 square feet; Fish Taco, 3,400 square feet; Taylor Gourmet, 2,300 square feet; Tasty Kabob, 2,100 square feet; Tropical Smoothie Café, 1,200 square feet; and Bluestone Lane, 1,100 square feet.

In addition, MyEyeDr. will occupy 1,900 square feet, and Boro Cleaners will occupy 1,000 square feet.

All of the tenants are scheduled to open next year.

When completed, The Boro will include more than 1,500 residential units, 1.9 million square feet of office space, 350,000 square feet of retail, 250,000 square feet of hotel space, a Whole Foods Market and a 14-screen ShowPlace ICON theater.

The Meridian Group is a real estate investment and development firm based in Bethesda, Md.

Since its inception in 1993, the company has acquired and developed more than 14 million square feet of space.
