The Breeden Co. to begin construction on 145-unit community

The Breeden Co. has bought a six-acre parcel adjacent to Norfolk’s Community Beach Park where it plans to build a multifamily community, Pinewell Station.

Construction of the development, which has an estimated value of $30 million, is expected to begin next month.

Leasing is expected to begin next fall.

The 145-unit Pinewell Station will be built by Breeden Construction and managed by Breeden Property Management.

The development will include a mix of one- and two-bedroom units .

It will have a clubhouse, fitness facility, media center, hospitality bar, business center, pool and roof-deck lounge.

The Breeden Co., based in Virginia Beach, has a combined portfolio of nearly 12,000 apartments, more than 2 million square feet of retail and office space and an additional 1,700 residential homes.
