VCU, University of Havana sign educational exchange agreement
Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Havana have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop cooperative programs at both institutions.
According to Gov. Terry McAuliffe’s office, the agreement opens the door for joint initiatives between the schools, from the exchange of students and faculty, to research projects and scientific advancement.
McAuliffe is leading a marketing and collaboration mission in Cuba until Jan. 6.
