Virginia Realtors announced last week it has installed Beth Dalton as the association’s 2021 president.

Dalton earned her sales license in 2003 and her associate broker’s license in 2010. She has served as Long & Foster’s managing broker for the Tuckahoe and Centerpointe offices in the Richmond area since 2019, and previously held the same role with the company’s Blacksburg office.

She has been a member of the Virginia Realtors board of directors since 2016 and was president-elect in 2020. She has also been chair of the board of trustees for the Realtors Political Action Committee (RPAC) of Virginia, and has also chaired Virginia Realtors’ Virginia Leadership Academy and the association’s public policy committee.

As a member of the Virginia Realtors Honor Society, she was named Virginia Manager of the Year in 2015 and in 2008 was named as New River Valley Association Association of Realtors’ Realtor of the Year. A National Association of Realtors Leadership Academy graduate, she also serves as the Region Three representative on the 2021 RPAC Trustees Federal Disbursement Committee.

Other Virginia Realtors leadership appointments include:

  • President-elect: Denise Ramey, Charlottesville
  • Vice president: Katrina M. Smith, Winchester
  • Treasurer: Tom Campbell, Warrenton
  • Immediate past president: Kemper Funkhouser, Harrisonburg.

Founded in 1920, Virginia Realtors is one of the largest trade associations in the state, representing 35,000 members in the residential and commercial real estate business. The organization includes 28 local Realtor associations and represents all regions of the commonwealth.
