West Virginia bank expands in Northern Virginia

West Virginia-based MVB Bank is expanding in Northern Virginia.

The bank, a subsidiary of MVB Financial Corp., plans to hold grand openings for new facilities in Reston and McLean this month and next.

The bank has expanded space in Reston with a new corporate suite and banking center at 12100 Sunset Hills Road, Suites R13 and 130, which began operation in late August.

MVB previously had Reston offices at Old Reston Avenue.

MVB also has new banking center at 1313 Dolley Madison Blvd., Suite 100, McLean, which began operation on in early September.

In addition, the bank opened a banking center last year at 106 Harrison St., SE, Suite 100, in Leesburg.

The new MVB banking centers feature interactive teller machines, which allow customers to talk with banking officials through video.

MVB, based in Fairmont, W.Va., is a community bank with more than $1.7 billion in total assets. It has 15 total locations, 12 of which are in West Virginia.
